I booked a hotel room through goibibo app today and it displayed a booking ID when the transaction was completed. After that, I did not receive any SMS or email confirmation of the booking nor does the "trip" section of the app shows any information of my booking. I reached out to the company on twitter and they asked for my contact details and have kept quiet since then. I reached out the hotel as well and they said that they have not received any intimation from goibibo regarding the hotel booking in my name. Basically, this company took my money and is now not giving me hotel confirmation nor responding to my requests for refund of the amount.
