I am writing to you in connection with the captioned subject. I had made an International Roundtrip booking with “MakeMyTrip” for my relative Mrs Stella Fernandes from Delhi to Vancouver on 17th April, 2020 and onward return journey on 9th June, 2020.
Since, the purpose of the travel was overturned; I decided to cancel the booking through MakeMyTrip on 19th March, 2020. Booking ID – NN7918152897496 and PNR- LJVCXS
At the time of cancellation, it was distinctly stated that it was a refundable booking, and after accepting the cancellation charges stipulated on the aforesaid booking, I could go ahead and request for a refund. It was also mentioned that Covid 19 waiver cancellation request was also available against a full refund, and it clearly mentioned that in case the Airline rejects the waiver request, the refund shall be provided after deducting the cancellation charges.
On that assurance and after consulting your customer care, I went ahead with the Covid 19 waiver cancellation for full refund.
But from that day, 120 days have passed and i have not been refunded anything, and still they say Airline has not processed the refund.
I cancelled another ticket with the same airlines , same date but at a later date , and to my shock they refunded me the money 15 days back.
It proves Airlines is just an excuse, i contacted the Airlines and they told me refund will be processed as it was a refundable booking, but Make my trip is continuing the Modus operandi again and again.
If you raise a complain through webform, they give you missed call and close the case, stating you did not pick up the call.
This is how i am being harassed for my hard earned money , cheated everyday ...
