I had a travel booking with booking id NF78108271908944 with travel for 2 passengers from Delhi--Ranchi on 21st April, 2020. I had tried cancelling the flights in view of the upcoming lockdown but I was told by Makemytrip that the tickets could not be cancelled and that I can rebook the flight at a later date. But, when I tried rebooking the same with GoAir on 19.10.2020, I was told that the booking has been cancelled. When I tried using MMT portal, it was not having any rebooking option. Instead, it only had a cancellation option. When , I tried cancellation, they processed the same and refunded me only Rs. 656 out of Rs. 3618 originally paid for the flight booking. I have been trying to get through to Makemytrip.com customer care through calls, twitter and facebook but I am unable to do so, except getting standard messages, i.e. "Please wait for another 24-48 hours". This is a gross violation of the recent Supreme Court judgement. Kindly help with the complete refund or the permission to rebook my flight as is evident with the attached screenshot shared by MMT on Whatsapp. Please help asap as I have urgent reservations to make for a family function in November.
